Event Details The theme of Pinner Synagogue's 2017 commemoration, From Terror to Tolerance, will be reinforced by our keynote speaker, Mr Leslie Kleinman.

Leslie grew up in a shtetl in Romania, the son of a Chassidic Rabbi. He was the only one of his entire family including 7 brothers and sisters to survive Auschwitz.

The Romanian Ambassador will give a brief address. Other heads of diplomatic missions will also be attending.

The evening will start with a moving candle lighting ceremony, then a short memorial service will be followed by readings from young members of the Pinner community.

Doors will open at 7.15pm for a prompt start at 8.00pm. Following the formal proceedings, refreshments will be served.
